OUR TEAM LA COURTEPOINTE FINALIST FOR REINVENTING CITIES MONTREAL 2026
LAAB is proud to announce that our “LA COURTEPOINTE” team has been selected as a finalist in C40 Cities’ international Reinventing Cities competition for the 150 Louvain Ouest site in Montreal.
La Courtepointe brings together Groupe Corev and the combined talents of LAAB architecture, Humà Design+Architecture, and Artelia engineering. We salute the commitment and creativity of the members of the extended team for this selection.
Located in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough and one of the largest vacant lots in Montreal, this 45,000-square-meter site will host a mixed-use, eco-friendly next-gen residential community upon the competition’s conclusion in early 2027.
This is particularly gratifying for LAAB, as it marks our second finalist selection in the C40 Cities competition in five years, following our selection for the 4000 St-Patrick project on the Lachine Canal in 2021. Our 2 finalists schemes at C40 demonstrate LAAB’s distinctive ability to envision innovative large-scale real estate projects and neighborhoods that meet the highest ecological standards. - Michel Lauzon, LAAB founder
